SunsetWX strikes me as an interesting site that utilizes meteorological data to attempt to predict an upcoming sunset's photographic worthiness. A new discovery for me, so no clue at this point how effective it may be. But the model they describe on the 'About the Model' page sounds sufficiently interesting that I'll probably follow along for a while.
Just like predicting weather for a very specific location is challenging for the weather folk, I'm guessing it will be at least as challenging to predict a sunset's photographic viability for a given location. That said, if we're going to drive an hr (or more) to a location, I could envision this increasing the odds of us coming home with a 'keeper'.
