I had been shooting sunrise on the lake from one of my 2 favorite locations on this am, and did 'ok', but it turned into one of those 'close, but no cigar' shoots. Once I'd decided the sunrise was over, I started to mosy around the damn area and noticed all the grasses flowering on the back side of the damn. So, I found my way down to a lower area to try and capture some of those flower heads in backlighting. I really have no explanation for the appearance of the additional 'rainbow' colors that appeared. While I certainly took artistic license to enhance them in processing, they were not added. One of those times pleasant surprises we get in photography occasionally.
