We had an interesting phenomenom for a while during this morning session at Ballydowane. There were essentially 2 levels of cloud cover hovering over the area that seemed to be moving in different directions. One very high level that had frequent breaks in it. The second level was much lower, very thick, and headed our direction. And once the sun rose high enough in the sky to get above that low thick level, it just lit up the underside of the higher level. Notice the strongly formed line of the lower level in the image. Interesting stuff I'm not sure I've seen elsewhere.
