Location: Outer Banks, NC, USA Date/Time Captured: 04/04/2016 @ 04:48 Had to get up e-a-r-l-y on this morning to make the roughly hour drive down to Friso Pier for some astro and Milky Way shooting. It was just late enough for this one that the Milky Way had disappeared, but as it was just the beginning of blue hour, there were still some stars present, the moon was setting just over the pier's shed, and the very earliest colors of sunrise had appeared.

I chose the latter for this session. Though my Milky Way capture/processing skills are not my best suit, I think I spent a couple hours here on this particular morning working the Milky Way ops along with sunrise. Good start to the day!
