Location: Edisto Island, SC, USA Date/Time Captured: 08/10/2016 @ 06:31 A fun sunrise session as things didn't look all that promising for sunrise color upon my arrival. Clouds were fairly thick...though not totally overcast. Even as I found my way out to the beach and began shooting things were a little blah. I'd all but given up on color shots and had been concentrating on long exposure black & white images....looking directly opposite of the sun's direction. And after starting a 4 minute exposure, I turned around, looked back in the sun's direction.....and Holy Cimoli, sunrise color had put on it's Sunday-Go-To-Meeting clothes and was strutting it's stuff. It turned out to be a wonderful color event that lasted approx 15-20 minutes. Turned out to be a very productive session for both color and long exposure b*w images!
