What a terrific winter session this one turned out to be. I had awaken this am to find a light, but very wet, snow that was just s-t-i-c-k-i-n-g to the trees like glue. But somewhat unusually, I guess it had been just warm enough the previous couple days that virtually nothing was sticking to the roads and the temperature stayed steady @ 31-32F. So, I made somewhat of a mad dash from my place up to Forest Park in the city and spent several hr photographing various tree scenes. And probably could have shot for a couple add'l hr had my stomach not been g-r-o-w-l-i-n-g at me. And very much to my surprise the temp stayed steady and the snow hung on the trees the entire time I was shooting.
