This one, looking down the lake's dam to the other side I found somewhat reminiscent of a knife cutting it's way through the fog to the other side.

I've seen thick fog before, but don't recall ever having seen it move/flow like it did on this morning. The scene in front of me appeared much like watching water cascade over big rocks in a river. It just kept flowing over the ridges and through the breaks in between. It really was quite a treat to see. Technically, the Foothills Parkway from where this image was shot is not in the National Park, but from this location virtually everything beyond the first layer of ridges is almost certainly in the park itself.
